About

I have a BSc in Economics and Political Science (Public Policy focus) from the George Washington University. I have completed fields in labor, industrial organization, and applied econometrics. Starting in Fall of 2015 I will be the recipient of the Wayne W. Gross Graduate Fellowship. I have defended a Masters in economics outside the usual doctorate program of study.

My Masters' research deals with the impacts of tax and regulatory policies on firm entry using regression discontinuity techniques. For my dissertation I plan on specializing in econometric theory. Where I am particularly interested in examining distributional aspects of panel data models and nonparametric applications in regression discontinuity.

I am active in the community and department through an adult ice hockey league, running a graduate student seminar series, and routinely hosting barbecues and gatherings for fellow graduate students.
